My academic work engages with computer-assisted orchestration, the semiosis of timbre, electronic music and unplugged electronics, and — more broadly — with articulating a coherent, contemporary discourse on timbre and orchestration.
Doctoral research
Currently engaged in the SACRe doctoral programme (CNSMDP · ENS-PSL, Paris), in partnership with the Haute École de Musique de Genève (HEM/HES-SO). My thesis develops the concept of Expansive Orchestration, where the entire orchestral fabric derives from a single element.
